RB2 for WR1*

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

RB2 for WR1*

Postby Generic Username » Fri Aug 10, 2018 1:04 pm

Yeah, the asterisk is on purpose.

In an 11 man keeper league (w/ ppc scoring for RBs), would you be more comfortable moving K Drake or T Coleman for D Thomas + 2nd round pick? I already have D Cook/D Henry/the 1.01 (Barkley), so losing either of the other 2 is mostly inconsequential to me. I just don’t know who I “like” more, TC or Drake

I like DT to rebound nicely this year, so especially with your RBs I'd be comfortable making this trade.

Id trade Drake and roll the dice that Tevin ends up a starter next year. 100% he wont be in Atlanta. They cant afford to pay him and Julio after they just paid Ryan/Freeman.

I think DT is worth as much and maybe more than either guy, so I'd take him and the free 2nd on top.

What if it were Alshon rather than DT? Admittedly, I’m a bigger DT fan, but owner seems to be waffling a bit and now mentioning Alshon’s name. I suppose it’d be a wash

Out of those two, I would trade Drake because I think Coleman can be very valuable if and when he gets a starting job.

1) For DT, in a heartbeat. For Alshon, meh.

2) Re: Drake vs. Coleman, personal preference. I'd likely trade Coleman, though, since you would have to hold on to him year to see if you'll get value in 2019. With Drake, at least, you'll know within a few weeks if you'll get value from him.

1) agree 100%

2) I think I trade Drake as I think the Dolphins brought in Gore, and drafted Ballage for a reason. But I agree that it's personal preference. In reality, I probably trade whoever gets me DT
