OBJ for Barkley

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

OBJ for Barkley

Postby Bot101 » Sun Aug 05, 2018 4:19 pm

Roster and starting requirements in my sig.

Give: Barkley

Get: OBJ

In a vacuum I would do this deal. But should I trade Barkley away and leave my RB core with Mixon/Guice as my starters and thats it? We have to start 3 WRs but can start up to 5 with the 2 flex spots. Am I over thinking this and accept or should I hold tight to Barkley as my lead RB?

Thanks guys.

Happens when you're trading away or getting studs. I think you definitely got a great deal here. I think Barkley will be a great NFL RB but you just got yourself the #1 WR in the league.

You definitely did the right thing. Being that you can start up to 5 WRs, you are going to roll out OBJ, Thomas, Allen and Hill every week, that’s a huge advantage. Like was said earlier, you can trade knees of your other WRs for RB help, if you need to.

I think I would take Beckham, still, Just because I think WRs typically have longer careers..but I could see either side here..

We've arrived! Selling Barkley for essentially the startup 1.01 now garners hesitation.

End of the hype train line. It fell off the edge of the flat earth.

Lol I've been warning people about this hype train for a while now. Top 2 dynasty receiver (Him or Nuk are 1, personal preference) for a ROOKIE RB?! I think Saquon has tremendous talent, but that trade was the dumbest thing I've seen for him to date. Hopefully that's the worst I see.
