This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Honestly, I've heard arguments for just about all positions to draft from. I personally like pick 6 or so, that way you can draft with the flow of the draft. Every draft is different, if you go to early or late a position can hit a big run and everyone's gone before you get to pick again.

I can easily see the side for drafting early. Get a stud and then 2 solid players at the turn. I think it's a lot more about reacting to how your draft is playing out than where you specific spot is.

I wouldn’t mind 3,4 or a later pick like 8-9 gives you the ability to go with trends and I always like the idea of drafting fairly close to one another. Gives you a better idea of whom you can take and not miss out on.

I'm right with you, I prefer the middle, 6/7, never far from the action if a run starts. If I can't, the end is good, you should be able to get 2 top QB (or any position) on the swing.....just sucks waiting.

if thinking that you want to go qb right away, id take 12 and 13. this allows you to react to whats been going on in the 1st 11 picks. if qb was ignored, you get solid qb, if they were to go early you have the opportunity to land the high end positional players or decide about how you feel qb's are going to be drafted, and know what you need to do at the next turn.

if your set on landing a positional player in rd1....take the early pick and get your guy. just know that the qb situation may be murky at 24 and 25 leaving you with a tough decision in a superflex league.

In a SF where owners wait on QBs (at least that's been the trend this year from these forums), I'd take the 12 spot and take back to back stud QBs.
