Marlon Mack Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Marlon Mack Value

Postby Djg1996 » Fri Jul 20, 2018 8:08 pm

Team 2 in sig.

I can land the 22nd overall pick in rookie draft for Mack. I don't believe he's going to be the long term answer in Ind, or anywhere else for that matter. Is this good value for mack or am I selling too low? Thanks

I wouldn’t trade him for the 22nd pick in a rookie draft but that’s just me. He is probably going to be the guy in Ind this year and even if it’s only for this year then that’s better than what the 22nd pick would probably give you.

if you are intent on trading him, it might create more value to wait until he has a few good games, or solidifies his spot as the lead back in the pre-season. of course that makes him more difficult to trade...but it sounds like that wouldn't affect your opinion of him anyway?
Too many teams and lineup changes to keep track of them all.

Sure, it could change my opinion if he were able to break away and be the front runner, but sounds like a rbbc mess there.

The other side of the coin with waiting is we find out Mack won’t be a lead back and his value drops rather than rises. I think I’d want something a little better than a mid second for him at this point even if you doubt. You should be aiming for 12-15 pick value

He’s a complete hold for me. He has no other real competition in the backfield so he will have every opportunity to succeed. If their o-line can stay healthy then they should be able to run the ball better also. Your not getting much in return. So hold and hopefully his value rises.

Agree with everyone else. Hold for now. I think his potential is worth waiting on. The upside is worth the risk of getting nothing imo

I’d wait until he’s closer to being on the clock, if a couple guys you like are available, I’d make the move. Otherwise I’d hope for some good games, or hype, and then look to move him

I would hold, I think he will be a 1,000 yard carry, 6-8 TDs and 15-20 catches type of guy, with Luck back at QB.

Or trade him for a late 1st early 2nd, or a 19 1st, the 19 draft is loaded

I'm no fan of Mack, but I'd much rather hold then sell for pick 20....14 would be better.

With Quentin Nelson, and now Luck ready to go, he's a hold. He flashed some serious playmaking ability last year, just ask Jadaveon Clowney.

I would be looking to sell Mack but think you can get more. A lot of people seem pretty high on him and his situation.

I like Mack a lot I would pay a late 1st for him and would want a mid 1st to sell him.

I was offered Lamar Miller/Kelvin Benjamin/2.06 for Mack or Drake and the 3.02 and I chose to move Drake. I think Mack is a solid RB2 this year borderline RB1. The 22 rookie is not enough
