DJ for picks?

Postby Apollom4 » Fri Jul 20, 2018 3:57 pm

Dude's team is loaded for the next 3 years at least, I'd just be making it more loaded. We are essentially playing for 2nd place without a lot of help from Lady Luck. Is this a fair offer or asking too much for DJ? 2 QB league if that matters at all into the values of the picks or DJ.

I take the DJ side if you're competing. The picks are nice, but even still, i'd want a proven player added on.

It’s a fair offer. I wouldn’t fault you for accepting or passing. I think if you draft Guice, Penny, and Chubb the chances are good you end up with at least one DJ.

Odds are not in your favor that you will get that type of elite RB1, but you should get at least one RB1, possibly 3.

Kamara, Hunt, and Cook all are either late first round startup picks or early 2nd. That is pretty close to mid first round DJ value. I’m pretty confident one of the three of those guys will be close to equal value to DJ next year, but I acknowledge that the gap in actual production may be much larger.

Yeah, I prefer the dart throws, thank you for the feedback. Thought it was a good offer and for the guy I believe it makes sense as it gives him a starting lineup of Cam/Wilson/Cook/Gurley/DJ (CMC as backup/flex)/K Allen/Julio Jones/AJG/Mike Evans/Olsen. The team is loaded, we are all just playing for 2nd place.

In his place I'd of course take the DJ side. I really don't even want to trade DJ, but trades are really hard to come by and I need some life at QB (Team 1 in sig). It's highly unlikely a deal gets done anyways and back to square 1. Probably have to trade devonte freeman straight up for like mitchell trubisky or something because this league is ridiculous.

I think in a 2QB league I would make this trade. To go along with Barkley, you can draft 2 QB and another RB. This is the year in SF and 2QB leagues to invest in QB.

With the Henry injury you seem to be in tough at TE and your WR are also a little weak overall. I'd move Freeman to improve there, basically doing a small rebuild and looking to next year, but maybe competing if some things break right.

My league is like this as well, values are backwards here....

Sometimes it works to my advantage, sometimes not where I have to overpay for my guy. I don't mind paying tho, keeps the trade doors open.

Good value back. I just traded the 1.2 and 1.3 for DJ- as a competing team. Not sure I would have sent one more 1st for him.
