Looking for advice on potential roster moves for another Rb

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Looking for advice on potential roster moves for another Rb

Postby UATahoe » Fri Jul 20, 2018 9:35 am

So i currently have a trade on the table that should be finalized today netting me Stefon Diggs and Lamar Miller. After that goes through, i will be left with the 2.04 rookie pick and then some 3rd and 4th round picks. No 1st's left for this years draft. Also losing Trey Burton in the deal. Should also mention that i have traded away my 2019 1st and 2nd round picks as well. Given my Rb situation, i am trying to put together one final deal that could net me a decent Rb. I feel pretty good about my team but know i really need another solid option at Rb. What type of deal would you guys be looking to get done? This is for team 1 in my signature.

I should add that i know i am not a contender and honestly there is one team in this league that is just an outright juggernaut and likely will coast to a championship for the next 3-5 years unfortunately. At this point i am just wanting to turn my team around into a playoff team and enjoy the season. LOL

Can we see the juggernaut team? Now I'm just super curious. :D

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but even without a juggernaut, I don't think that's a serious contender until you get starting depth. OBJ is a great piece to build around, and keep stockpiling young talent, and you'll get there

His team has Russell Wilson, Gurley, Fournette, D Freeman, Alex Collins, Hyde, Hopkins, Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Allen Robinson, and Graham at TE. Some other depth pieces but you get the picture. I guess he could potentially be weak at TE? LOL

I think it could definitely be a playoff team which is my goal. Cant survive any injuries, but yea its not a contender to win a championship. My point was to imply that wasnt even on my radar. LOL

If I were you, I'd try to get some TEs and trade him a TE for one of his studs. Doubt that'll work, but it's worth a shot.

Doubt it would work. I took over this team last year after the prior owner quit. My guess is there were quite a few lopsided trades that lead to where we are today. Last year he traded the 1.07 and Derek Carr for the 1.01. In a 1 QB league. And the guy who traded with him has Rodgers as his starter.

Ouch. Maybe he didn't know it'd be the 1.01? But either way, his roster may be a league killer

Oh he knew. Made the trade on the clock at the draft. LOL

But i agree. That roster will probably ultimately push away people more and more. I was close to just walking away but decided to stay and just make the best of it. They has 3 owners leave last year.

Ya, I hate to see leagues fold, but there are some awful trades that had to happen
