Should I be targeting this WR?

Postby Ski mask ready » Fri Jul 20, 2018 8:43 am

I just got Kenny Stills for basically nothing. Considering moving him for Mike Williams LAC

Thoughts??

I could see doing it... but Im not a huge Williams fan. Injury issues dating all the way back to College. Think he was over drafted where they took him last year. He wont beat out Tyrell imo, and I think as long as Allen is there and once Henry is back next year Mike Williams ceiling is somewhere in the 65/750/5 range... Id rather have Stills. Improved every year hes been healthy. I will say the table could be set for Williams to “break out” if he shows out the first few games... I just dont think it will happen

I disagree. I think Williams has shown his ceiling. Allen is a possession guy, which is why he's a PPR monster. Williams could be the DT to Allen's Sanders which could mean big things for him. Williams >>>> Stills. Also, I'm a Parker fan so...

"Should I be targeting Williams", as in there are no trade talks at this point?

Pursuing a trade for Williams with Stills being the best piece you plan to give up, you'll likely get nowhere. Stills isn't worth anywhere near that of Williams. But, if trade talks are already in motion, definitely do whatever you can to get it done, within reason of course. Williams is a much better dynasty piece at this point

In terms of value, Williams is much more valuable so if this deal was done you could flip him for more

If this was offered to you then you need to accept immediately. Williams may end up being a bust, but he may end up living up to his draft stock. We already know what Stills is, and WRs of his level are pretty easy to find.

If you are the one offering this however, don't get your hopes up, or expect this to even result in a counter offer.

In my PPR league Stills was the WR 34 last yr with Cutler as QB. If he gets10 more catches for 150 more yards and 2 TDS he will move into the top 20 as a solid Wr2. Those additional stats are easily obtainable with Tannehill back and Landry gone. He is terribably undervalued in the fantasy world imo. I have avoided Williams entirely as the injuries scare me. I,d keep the high floor Stills over Williams...because of the said injuries and in a crowded Wr group in LAC.
I only play in 16x53 with 10+ taxi size leagues with full IDP. All are PPR and most value return yardage. So my opinions may be skewed To these deep roster leagues.

Dynasty Fantasy is not a game, it’s a full time hobby.
