Trade Engram for Corey Davis

Should I give up Engram for Corey Davis? I can afford to give up Engram. Short term hurts a bit but plan to target Gesicki/Trey Burton at 2.08(mixed rookie/FA) draft. Next year it could be a position of strength for me if Henry returns to form. If Davis lives up to the hype/potential it gives me a nice trio Thomas/Julio/Davis. I just worry about trading a proven commodity in Engram for wild card in Davis. Eli will throw it 550+ times. 200 targets for OBJ 100 for Shephard/100 RBs.. still leaves 150 targets for Engram and others. Still think Engram will get his but thats just me. He did have drop issues but from a talent standpoint he may be a once in a decade talent at the position. Davis is talented as well but think he was overdrafted at #5 overall... Hoping Mariota and Tenn turn it around this year. If Davis sees 140 targets I could see 84/1100/7.... but could also see 55/750/4.... Ive seen Davis bringing a fortune in my other leagues so price wise feel its a good deal... but is it a good deal for me??

I would do it with your roster. I like and own both players in several leagues so I don’t feel biased but I really believe in C.Davis talent and I also like the way Davis looked when he was finally healthy last season. Like I said, I do like Engram but I think you can get by with Kittle and either Burton/Gesicki plus I think you need the WR help.

I do think that Engram is in for regression - maybe he's already reached his ceiling? Certainly benefited from no OBJ, Sterling absences, and a v poor running game. Davis on the other hand looks like he could be ready for a breakout. There's possibly more risk there, because as of yet he hasn't actually done anything, but clearly where the upside lies to me. I'm surprised they are as close in ADP as they are. I'd need a significant something added to Engram to trade my Davis share

Davis very easily for me. I think Engram should stay a fairly productive TE but also factor in that OBJ and multiple other WR's were hurt on New York last year. This is a very easily deal to me

I would prefer Davis. Engram is a good young tight end but you have some decent other options and Davis is a better talent in my opinion.
