Trading Jarvis Landry

Postby baldwin415 » Tue Jul 17, 2018 11:50 am

I've had a lot of offers for Landry in the past week and was wondering what I should be selling him for, if i decide to. This is for Luck Dynasty in my sig

EDIT: Have not received concrete offers, just inquiries. Basically, just want to know his trade value.
My apologies.

Agreed how is he the clear WR1? Gordon is a more athletic prototypical WR1 for a team, With Gordon,Landry,Duke,Njoku and Coleman/Callaway and the fact Tyrod doesn't throw the ball more than 420 times in a year there isn't much meat on the bone for Jarvis' pathetic 8.8 yards per catch to produce WR1 numbers let alone high WR2.....its most likely going to go to the WR that has a career 17.3 yards per catch and is a bigger redzone threat.

That logic is fine and dandy for any other team than the Browns....they have thrown wayyyyyy more money away than that in the past.

The Landry hate is a real thing. Anyone who doesn’t own him should use that to their advantage. Can’t find many WR1s that come soooo cheaply.

Unless you're getting something like 1.02 value, you should just hold him.

Which Tyrod did on the Bills, not on the Browns... Cleveland had 100 more pass attempts last season than did Buffalo and more in prior seasons. And why focus on Landry's YPC with Cutler/Moore/Fales? That's just disingenuous. It was over 12 the year prior with Tannehill.

I expect both Gordon and Landry to be top 20 WRs this season. Safe bottoms as WR2s, both with potential to put up numbers in the top 10.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

As a Landry owner I like that TyGod is throwing the ball. He has never really been the down field bomber that would hurt Landy. Taylor typically throws short, relatively safe passes, which is where Landry excells. These offers you're getting have to be very good as he is the best safety net in the league

I just don't see it, the browns are still the browns and aren't going to have a top offense....I just don't see how there's enough meat on the bone to support two top 20 guys.

I can agree with that, but I think Jarvis has the safest WR2 floor and if somehow if the browns figure it out, he could be a back end WR1

SORRY EVERYONE, should've reworded my question and said that I've gotten a lot of inquiries as to what I want in return for him. Yes, I know this is a terrible way to start trade conversations, but I would like to know his value.
