DeMarco Murray - Hold or Cut?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

DeMarco Murray - Hold or Cut?

Postby redstang08 » Sun Jul 15, 2018 2:23 pm

Looking for more opinions here. With that pending addition of Joe Mixon to the team listed in my sig, is DeMarco Murray a Hold or Cut at this point for my team. I feel like I don't need him anymore and should just cut him before waivers clear to see if I can't get an opposing owner to waste some FAAB cash on a gamble. What do you think?

Marshawn Lynch was also retired... but it’s a matter of what keeping him would mean giving up. If you’re giving up a 3rd round pick to keep him, for example, he’s a cut. If it’s a 10th round rookie pick cause roster size is 30, I could see holding him. I have a similar decision to make at some point. Memories of dropping Lynch linger in my mind making it tougher.

Agree with this, hold as long as possible. I’d rather have him over guys like Boston Scott, but would probably roster guys like Ballage over him at this point making home woth (at least to me) around rookie 25 or so...

Though Murray should be a cut, Henderson would be the first to go. He has no value.
