I think you probably overpaid by one piece and I really don't get why. You won't be close to competing in a 10 team league unless its super shallow starting reqs and you blew up your nice young core that you were building around. 75% of your team is rookie or 2nd year but you made a win now move. Maybe if you walk us through your thought process it will make more sense?

I think it was decent.
A lot of this is going to hinge on Ridley in my opinion. If he can throw up a good season for you, it will really soften the loss of Hill for you.

Thanks for the feedback. My thought process was really just studs win championships in 10 team leagues. I've got Wilson, Barkley, Gurley, and Nuk, with Henry on IR for next year. Davis and guice are question marks currently, as is the 2019 1st. I'm a big tyreek fan, but I see it personally as trading 3 question marks and tyreek for Gurley and a question mark. Value wise, you may have given up a little much. But...
1. You got the best player in the deal.
2. You gave up two pieces that have never played an NFL down and a guy that had a poor rookie year.

I never understood why people would trade for the #1 scoring RB from the previous year? I don't think that has been replicated in over a decade. In theory Gurley is a depreciating asset, he will never be worth as much as he is this offseason as he will be next or the year after unless he is the RB1 2-3 years in a row which never happens. It goes against evry principle of buying low and selling high.

Good trade. Guice, Davis and the 1st May NEVER pan as above average fantasy producers. You got the best player in the league currently. Nice young core of studs to build around. It would hurt to ship off that much potential, but this is a head over heart move.

Thanks for the feedback. When I made this trade I was not expecting Gurley to be #1 for the next few years. I do expect him to be in the upper tier of backs though, which is why I got him. His value this time next year may not be as high as it is now, but I didn't get him to flip him.
