Selling Gurley. Acceptable value and the risk of creating an opposing dynasty.

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Selling Gurley. Acceptable value and the risk of creating an opposing dynasty.

Postby Poe_Durley » Fri Jul 13, 2018 5:09 am

First dlf post, sorry if the format is wrong.

14 Team

.25 PPC & 1 PPR, 6Pt rush/rec/ret Td, 4pt Passing TD

Lineups: QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3 Flex, 1 SF.

I Give: Todd Gurley

I Get: Guice, Brandin Cooks, 2020 1st (let's assume late)

Roster Notables:

QB: Luck, Trubisky, Darnold

RB: Gurley, Mixon, Chubb, Gio

WR: Corey Davis, Coutee, J. Washington, Tre'Quan,Deon Cain, Richie James

TE: OJH.

Couple months after the startup. Just traded DVP for a 2019 first, figured that i might as well see what i could get for Gurley. I dont hate the value I would be getting back necessarily. My big dilemna is if I traded Gurley to this team he would have a stacked team compared to the rest of the league. His team would be

QB: Rodgers, Ryan

RB: Gurley, Zeke, CJA, Aaron Jones

WR: Algholor, Lockett, Godwin, Mike Williams, decent amont of intriguing fliers.

TE: Henry, Kittle, Jonnu

He would still have 2 2019 1sts to play with to bolster that wr corps

I also have an offer from another team of 2 2019 firsts (probably mid to late), a 2020 1st and Marlon Mack.

Any and all thoughts are appreciated

You would effectively be destroying your team by making this trade. It's not even close, like the others have said.

If he wants Gurley, he needs to part ways with Zeke.

Gurley side by another 1st (if they're going to be that far out). Also, I don't think his WRs are strong enough to say that he'd have a dynasty, but Rodgers, Gurley, and Zeke all can win weeks on their own so I get your train of thought.

Piling on, also it helps you and everyone responding if you put your team in your signature, that way you don't have to type it out everytime.

Also, welcome to the forum! I'll have some hot take every now and then, but almost everyone on here is fantasy smart. Good luck!

I'm with everyone else and that is not enough for Gurley. No where near close. He is 1 of the top 3-5 dynasty assets going forward.

Who's DVP? And, no, don't make that trade.
