Some people around here would consider that a joke of an offer from the 1.01 side. Shiny new toy syndrome is real, and as good as Barkley is, is he worth a top 5 RB and top 5 WR? Some would argue no.

A guy in my league traded the number 1 pick and Thielen for Melvin Gordon and Keenan Allen I literally lost my mind. Honestly gotta be the worst trade I’ve seen in my entire life. I’m dropping out of the league if this goes through. What do you think.

I honestly feel like Thielen will let a lot of people down where he’s being drafted....I thought about this and it’s close, but I really think I’d rather have Allen and Gordon...Allen is much better and still younger than Thielen. Maybe Barkley turns out to be head and shoulders above Gordon, It’s certainly possible...But this is in no way a trade to be all upset about...

I don’t see anything wrong with the trade. One team is getting 2 proven studs in Allen and Gordon, while the other team is getting tremendous upside in Barkley, with Thielen being a nice throw in.

It’s pretty even. I like the Barkley side, but ask me tomorrow and I might say I like the Keenan side. I like Keenan and Barkley pretty even. I think this time next year we will be talking about both as top 10 dynasty assets. What gets me are the second pieces. I don’t like Thielen or Gordon all that much. But i would take Gordon over Thielen.

I think you are overreacting by a large margin. Obviously you are high on Barkley and that’s fine, but the fact of the matter is one side trades a rookie and a wr2 for a stud wr and a rb1.

Gordon > Thielen for me, but it's not crazy that some value Thielen > Gordon.

I knew as soon as I read the whiny title that this trade would not actually be that bad
