OTC 3.7- what would you do?

Postby keebs3 » Tue Jul 03, 2018 11:10 am

This is for team 1. I’m up with my last pick in our draft. I could go QB to back up Cam, many teams like to horde QBs. I could also go RB and handcuff DJ- though it would be a reach.
Who do you like here for my team? I’m leaning Trubisky.

You need a back up QB and I would easily trust Carr over Trubisky. Carr is the obvious choice for me

If you want a safe-ish back up go Carr, but I think I go upside with Trubisky.

Trubisky has more upside than Carr? I'd take Carr both for current and for upside.

Trubisky or maybe Mayfield but given the need for the current year, Trubisky is the better option of the two.

IMO yes. We've seen Carr. Even his best year he was only QB12 in standard scoring. The OP already has Cam so that is his starter...why not take the risk with Trusbisky in a very very friendly QB scheme? I have no stocks in either, but if I was it would be with Trubisky.

I should add- there are a few QB's that live on waivers that I could always get after the draft, like Bortles, Eli, Bradford, Dalton, Keenum. I figured Carr and Trubisky were far enough above them to use this pick for a QB rather than one of the rookies left.

the fact that these QBs are available, does not support that statement...

i would take either Carr or Wilkins
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

Trubisky over Carr in the poll? Come on. Carr was MVP quality 2 years ago before playing through a broken back, tons of drops and an incompetent QB.

Carr>Trubisky by a mile IMO.
