Anybody have any suggestions/advice on who to take at 1.01? Seems like conventional wisdom in a superflex would be to lock down an elite QB, but Gurley was actually the top scorer in this format, and Bell was third behind Wilson. I’m leaning towards taking Gurley at 1.01 and then the best two QBs left at the 2.12/3.01.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

🦬PRIME🦬
QB: Hurts, Howell
RB: Mixon, Jones, Sanders, Dobbins, Akers, Roschon, Dowdle, Kelley
WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert
TE: Hockenson, Chig, Trautman
Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits
$450 cap, 60 contract years

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5
TE: Thomas $1/0, Hill $1/0, Parham $1/0

to refresh: start 1-2QB, 2-5RB, 3-6WR, 1-4TE....all TDs=6pt, RB/WR get .5ppr and .5 per 1st dow....TE=1pt for each...interceptions=-4 and -6 if returned for TD
okay folks...i took greenbird's advice and went late WR...not sure how i like my team...
my draft seemed to take a different turn than many other drafts..QBs went late in my draft and RBs flew off the board...i predrafted my first 2 picks and wish i hadn't, because it kinda sent me in a spin...but here it is:
1.12/2.01 - Kelce/Rodgers...i wanted Gronk/Dalvin at this turn..7 RBs, 3WRs and 1TE went in the first round..i wish i wouldn't have predrafted 2.01..i predrafted 6RBs, 2TEs and one QB for both these picks...but i really thought i would get one of the RBs based on most of the mock SFB drafts
3.12/4.01 - Guice/Wentz...i knew i needed a RB and decided on Guice, passed on Miller, Ajayi, Drake, Collins, Henry...then, i decided to keep the positional advantage in QB and take Wentz....Watson, Newton, Wilson and Brady taken in that order...
5.12/6.01 - Sony/RoJo...i actually debated Sony over Wentz last round....big risk with 2 rookies here, but i needed some RBs before the well ran dry...i feel lucky to get a couple with upside...considered Royce here too..passed up guys like Cooks, Alshon and Marvin
7.12/8.01 - Crabtree/Burton...okay a bunch of TEs flew off the board including Olsen/Walker/Kittle.. so i took another...considered Burton, but thought since i own Kelce i could go with upside for TE2..first WR for me, heard Flacco singing his praises...we shall see
9.12/10.01 - Kelvin/Hurns... i need still need WRs. 200 targets available in Dallas-hopefully Hurns gets the lion's share...and someone has to catch the ball in Buffalo (right?)
11.12/12.01 - Crowell/DJ Moore...consider myself lucky to get a starting RB in the 12th round, DJ Moore might be WR1 on his team, passed on Lee, Stills and Mike Williams...also passed on Dez, hoping he would fall....nope
13.12/14.01 - Flacco/Hooper...QB3 and TE3 in this round...i was hoping Eifert would fall..nope. considered watson and butt and it was between Flacco and Bradford for me...Rosen and Bradford were both available
15.12/16.01 - Godwin/Kirk...we have to start 3 WRs, and i think both of these have some upside..i thought about some RBs here as well...wilkins, demarco, doug, yeldon, dixon...i hope one falls to the next round

this is 22 rounds...no trading
my team so far
QB: Rodgers, Wentz, Flacco

17.12/18.01 - dixon/conner...i was hoping for martin/yeldon but dixon and conner were fine here...if either of the starters go down, i think they will be in line for RB1 usage...i consider myself lucky because if demarco would have been there, i would have taken him
19.12/20.01 - Goedert/Pryor...well, i didn't want another rookie, but he had easily the most upside of all the players left in a TE premium league..Pryor could be startable and could be a cut
21.12/22.01 - Dickson/Gabriel...another TE. Dickson could be TE1 in Seattle. Gabriel, never know...

team:
Rodgers, Wentz, Flacco
Guice, Sony, RoJo, Crowell, Dixon, Conner
Crabtree, Kelvin, Hurns, DJ Moore, Godwin, Kirk, Pryor, Gabriel
Kelce, Burton, Hooper, Goedert, Dickson
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

think you went way too rookie heavy here. a dynasty team you'd look solid but yeah this isn't lol

I’m still languishing in the 15th round. There are a couple guys who are averaging more than two hours on the clock per pick through 14+ rounds. Annoying af. This is my first slow email draft and I hate it as much as I thought I would. It doesn’t help that I also have back-to-back picks, so I end up waiting the longest. Here’s my team so far:

1.01 - Gurley
2.12/3.01 - Wentz/Cam
4.12/5.01 - Penny/Hilton
6.12/7.01 - Miller/R. Freeman
8.12/9.01 - Funch/Mack
10.12/11.01 - Binge/Woods
12.12/13.01 - Flacco/Lockett
14.12/15.01 - Enunwa/Barber

Still haven’t taken a TE. Just seems like people are reaching like crazy on TEs due to the premium scoring. I might break down and grab one or even two on the next turn, but I keep finding guys I like a lot more at other positions.
