For the team in the sig (10 team, 1 QB). Is Cam worth trading pick 18 this year and a projected very early second next year? (I give up picks and get Cam)
I feel like I can grab one of the top rookie QBs at 18 to replace Tom whenever he is done. Never mind the early second next year as well. Am I being dumb? I worry about how Cam will age.

You might be able to draft a QB at 18, but will he be startable in a year or two? Cam has been a top QB a lot more times than he hasn't. Great floor, great ceiling with an improving offense around him. I think that's good value and should set you up for 3-5 years at the position. You'll have plenty of time to choose a young guy to invest in.

I'd trade for him after Norv leaves .. at some point, Cam is going to do what Cam wants to do, but I doubt it will be under Norv..
