Cooper for A Package?
Cooper for A Package?
I've got a pretty solid team that doesn't have much depth. Been offered this for my Cooper:
Give: Amari
Get: Collins, Parker, Godwin, and 2019 1st (likely mid)
My key players and league settings below.
Start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2Flex - ppr (1.5 for TEs)
Big Ben, Mariota
Zeke, Barkley, McKinnon
Thomas, Cooper, Diggs, Moore, Cobb
Ertz, Njuko
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Re: Cooper for A Package?
It’s a solid offer and it would definitely help you with depth but I think keeping Cooper helps you win now, more than the package. I think your team looks strong so I would probably pass on that deal.
Re: Cooper for A Package?
Keep cooper. I think he’s primed for a bounce back. He may never be that stud wr1 everyone thought, but I see him being more of a super dependable wr2
Re: Cooper for A Package?
Close, voted Cooper, may have taken the package if rebuilding and could flip Collins and Parker

Re: Cooper for A Package?
Cooper. Most likely the only player relevant in 3 years (other than the first).

Re: Cooper for A Package?
This is how I feel about him. I don't think he'll ever be in the top 5 wr, but I can see him consistently being in the 10-15 range of that bottom WR1, top WR2 range.
Keep Cooper.

Re: Cooper for A Package?
i'll keep cooper and give him a chance
Re: Cooper for A Package?
This is very close.
It boils down to whether you believe Godwin or Parker will break out to WR2 level or not.
Parker has had 3 years to prove himself. Not saying he can't be decent, but the odds of him becoming a WR1 all of a sudden are not good.
Godwin has that "it" factor. He also has a 25 year old WR on his team entrenched at the WR1 spot and a huge looming QB fiasco in Tampa now. He has the talent but his ceiling is capped.
Collins is solid - but would it really surprise anyone if Dixon came on strong and made a bit of a mess of the situation? It would not surprise me.
And then there's the pick.
The sum of the parts is greater than Cooper - but you can't definitively see a route where any of the pieces become as valuable or more than Cooper - who has his own opportunity to "break out" this year.
I'd actually pursue the idea of this trade - but I'd try to swap out a piece or two into players with a higher ceiling potentially.

Re: Cooper for A Package?
The value is there, but the need isn't. None of those pieces would be starting for you. I guess maybe you have to be a believer in Parker to make the trade and I'm not.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: Cooper for A Package?
It’s a fair offer value wise on paper because all these pieces add up to Cooper. The best piece being the 2019 pick.
I would easily stick with Cooper here

Re: Cooper for A Package?
I think Parker is a WR3 with upside this year. And Godwin becomes a WR2 next year...once DeSean is out of the picture. I also think Collins is safe RB2. He won't have much value after the season, imo. But I'd flip him early in the offseason.cvbuc wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 8:24 am This is very close.

Cooper worries me. His value falls off a CLIFF if he has anywhere close to a repeat of last season.
