Rookie pick trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rookie pick trade

Postby silentrich » Thu Jun 21, 2018 2:10 pm

I have
1.2
1.3
2.1
2.2
2.9
2.10

Would you trade 1.3 for 1.5 2.3 and future 2nd.
Is that good for value. I'm taking guise at 2.

On a side note, giving 1/2 point ppr to RBs and full to everyone else seems dumb.

On the original post. No. I would take Guice and one of Chubb, RoJo or Penny and call it a day. If you don't have a preference between those three, make the trade.

I would not take Guice at 2 but i would make the trade. Think 2.3 will net Gisecki.

Why not Guice at two? He's going there in 90%(made up but probably close) of drafts.

I would take the trade. From picks 2-8, they are all over the place.
9(yes 9) team / 28 man rosters
15/17/19/21 Champ
SF/PPR
QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/flex/SF
Mahomes/TLAW/Fields
N. Harris/J. Williams/Gibbs/CEH/A. Jones/Hubbard/Haskins/Ingram
Kupp/Jefferson/Chase/Lamb/Hopkins/MT/Watson/Dotson/
Kelce/Hurst

Not a fan of his situation. Think he is more of a 2 down player.

Like Penny and Michael much better. Washington is a pretty bad running team. Smith could help them a little given his wheels but he is so conservative with the football I expect 8 in the box as a rule. Washington also has a significant talent as their 3rd down back.

Penny and Michael were selected in round 1 by two excellent coaches with a big say in personnel decisions. That should tell fantasy owners something but seems to be discounted around here.

I had them rated 2 and 3 well before the draft. Both have great vision. Penny has the better burst IMO. I actually had Guice behind Chubb.

I get everyone has an opinion so not trying to debate the choice but you asked.

I'd take Guice at 1.02. The trade also seems fair if you don't have a huge preference between the next 3 RBs.

I get where you're coming from, but I don't necessarily agree.

As for Washingtons run game, they have had RBs like Fat Rob and Perine. Guice is a much, much better runner than them. He may be a 2-down back, but Thompson is usually banged up.

Belichek has never had a bellcow. I'm guessing Michel will be in a 3 to 4 man committee that seems to work for the Patriots.

As for Seattle, Pete Carroll has never drafted a RB that can hold a job (Collins is the closest). They have a horrendous offensive line. Penny may be talented, but his situation isn't better.

In all honesty I think Chubb is the second best RB in the draft, but he's losing stock because of Hyde.

Not saying you're wrong, but I just wanted to let you know my opinion.

Nothing wrong with your opinion.

I will say you are incorrect about Belichick though. People seem to forget about Ridley and Dillion

He was also hopeful Lewis would be that guy but injuries hurt him. Last year he was actually breaking out.

People like to compare Belichick with the rat toothed Bastard but with Bill its all about talent. The best players play period and its no secret who that is. Michael should bring stability to this situation.

Definitely take the trade - you're getting a lot of value. Only concern would be if you have enough room for all the picks...
