Postby jonesmaster » Thu Jun 21, 2018 11:59 am

Although i think my team is in good shape for this season, im hoping to get some advice on thinking ahead. My hope is that i can win and immediately sell. Any advice for me going forward?

Thank you!

RB is a bit iffy. I'd target selling Cobb or Matthews for some cheap guys like Lamar Miller or Rex Burkhead since you need RB depth more than you need WR depth.

Lynch can be your RB3 this year, but it would not hurt to trade for better Rb3

I think you're fine with what you have. It would be nice to have some better depth at RB behind Zeke and DJ, but not necessary as long as they stay healthy.

In your situation, I ALWAYS look to sell players who would never (or rarely) start for me for future picks. Always.

1) It gives you a couple of roster spots for in-season moves and to take flyers on guys who could be homeruns.
2) It gives you ammo to make in-season trades to overcome injuries or down seasons.
3) Most importantly, it helps protect you from ever having to do a full rebuild since you can constantly replenish your team.

From your team, that means, IMO, that any non-starter should hit the trade block ASAP. (Note: That doesn't mean that you have to trade all of them. But, you'll likely get value somewhere for one or two of them...)

i like what you have a lot i think youre in a place where you can afford to ride some players off into the sunset and still have a nice mixture of youth continuing to grow. stay put ! maybe move aj green if the price is right or see if you can get anything for dez if/when he signs
