I prefer the Hopkins side.

How is Bell's talent & production related to playing on the Steelers? It's not as though they were a powerhouse before he came to the team... He MAKES them great, not the other way around.

DJ and Bell are basically even (I prefer Bell slightly), but I think Hopkins is worth a lot more than Thomas. Howard is obviously worth more than Tate, but not sure it closes the gap...definitely makes it close though.
I agree with this.

first, it was simply a question... but plenty of (great) players have switched teams and faltered (Moss(in Oakland), T Owens, DeMarco (in Philly)
i could argue the same for DJ...he makes that team great....and i think the Steelers were pretty great before Bell (they were in the super bowl without him) , Bell makes them more dangerous...

Bell=DJ... i don't think Bell will sit out the season...i believe he will play....Matt Williamson seems to believe that Bell will not be a Steeler next season... but i believe that DJ is in the last year of his contract too...so things may change for him as well...
Hopkins>MT...not too far apart
i think the trade is close...and it comes down to whether you are more comfortable starting J Howard or Tate..
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE

I'd keep the WR depth in a start 2 (you only have to start 1 RB), but I could see value either way.
