We are in the middle of our 10 round draft. Since people have moved, everyone has 12 hours to make a pick, with the time being tolled between 8 am and 8 pm (or something like that).
Situation is, last night around 7/8, pick 5.10 is up. Nothing is done until about 15 min ago kicker Fairbairn is entered. 5.11 goes and then at 5.12 I take ESB. 5 minutes later i get a text from the commissioner that he "meant" to put in ESB for team 5.10 and that I have to pick someone else. His excuse is that he was drunk last night and owner oof 5.10 told him ESB and then he asked again and they thought it was a "new pick" (as if we'd go through 12 picks in an hour?) and the guy said Fairbairn.
I'm a little pissed off right now. They had over 12 hours to enter the pick and now it's a mistake? Do i just let this go or do I say he's mine?

Ask to see the messages. As a commissioner of my own league, I get where the mistakes can be made. If the other owner truly did say he wanted ESB and got confused by the commish (you read the messages and decide), then I think you move on. If this is something else, you stand your ground to keep ESB.

I can agree with this. If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

If the Commish went to the trouble to text you my first thought was he had a reason. Doesn't seem on the surface to be a big deal but only you know the individuals involved.
