Blind Bidding Help

Postby philosophy » Tue Jun 19, 2018 10:52 am

PPR. All owners know of the free agents, $100 budget was increased to $150.

Who would you target and how much would you bid on them respectively? Keep in mind this $150 budget is for the rest of the year.

Notable FAs

Kenyan Drake
Mike Wiliams
Ameer Abdullah
Austin Hooper
Dede Westbrook
Donte Moncrief
Tyrod Taylor
TJ Yeldon
Austin Ekeler
Spencer Ware
Peyton Barber
Jeremy Maclin
Malcolm Mitchell
Tavon Austin

I am planning to drop Deandre Washington, John Brown, Kendall Wright and Jordan Akins. Would you drop any of Chris Ivory (could be useful if McCoy goes down), Enunwa, Chester Rogers, Pryor, Albert Wilson or Vance McDonald on top of the previous 4?

Thanks!

*I'm assuming Drake and Williams may be bid by a team each at $150 so not sure how to approach it lol.

How many teams / roster spots? It must be a pretty shallow league if all these players are free agents. I'd pay $125+ for Drake.

If I’m you I spend most if not all on Drake. The other guys have chances to make your money worth while but Drake has got a much much much better chance of making that money worthwhile. Dede would be the other person I look to add.. with ARob gone he’s got a good chance to flourish.

deff keep enunwa, pryor and albert wilson!

Id also be willing to spend all of that 150$ on drake and mike williams. If it was a superflex i would spend at least half on tyrod. and i would also throw about 25$ on dede westbrook but he would be less of a target compared to drake, m williams, and tyrod(only if superflex) but i would put at the very least 100$ on williams and i would drop 150$ on drake
12 team PPR SuperFlex start 9 (Same for each team)

TM1
QB: Rodgers, Rivers, Dak, Dalton, Smith
RB: Zeke, CMC, Jacobs, Chubb, Gore, Dearnest
WR: Davante Adams, Tyreek, Fuller, Aj Brown, AB, MVS, Fulgham, Ward, Fitz, Beasley, amendola, zaccheus

Thanks for the input guys. Not sure why these players were dropped honestly.

12 Team IDP league. Commish forgot to include dropped players in rookie/FA draft.

The issue with bidding all $150 on one player is that for the rest of the season I'll be at a huge disadvantage every week...

Not sure, everyone seemed eager to draft and by the time it was noticed it was too late I guess. Just an honest mistake I assume.

This for me as well. I'd rather have Williams

#1 williams, #2 drake

a lot of the bidding depends on if the minimum bid later in the season is 0 or 1, and how much are you willing to sell out now to restict yourself later.
Team #1: 2nd place
12 team, 1 ppr (1.5 te), 1Q,2R,2W,1T,2F,1D,1K

Q: Kyler, AR
R: JT, CMC, Barkley, chandler
W: Evans, Chase, Mooney, Collins, Dell, Pickens
T: Kelce, Goedert
D: nyj
K: Sanders

Team #2: back to back champion
12 team, 1ppr (1.5 te), 1Q,2R,2W,1T,1SF,1F,1D,1K

Q: R Wilson, Murray, Watson
R: Swift, Walker, gus bus
W: Puka, Metcalf, Dell, Cooper, DJM, K Allen
T: Kelce, Pitts
K: Tucker
D: CLE

Team #3: back to back champion
14 team, SF, 1PPR (2PPR for TE), 1Q,2R,3W,1T,1SF,2F

Q: Mahomes, Rodgers, Watson, Heinicke, walker
R: Mostert, walker, a Jones, Wilson, Charb, Z White, McLaughlin, freeman, d Williams, Reynolds,
W: Waddle, A St Brown, K Allen, Cooper, Nuk, Juju
T: Kelce, Schultz, Thomas, Ferguson

Team #4 3rd

Drake and Williams, whoever you like better, but I would assume that other owners will bid all of their dollars on them too. The way most of my leagues work, if you bid the same amount, it’s whichever team puts the bid in first.

If you get a starting caliber player, it's worth it. I will gladly bid it all on a guy that I can put in my lineup every week. That's what the $ is there for. What good is it to have a bunch of BB money when the talent pool in almost, if not completely depleted by that point?
