Hill for Mixon??

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Postby Benflicky » Tue Jun 19, 2018 8:49 am

I just got offered this straight up trade. I think it’s pretty even considering my situation, and I think mixon has good value, however Hill is young as well so that’s where I’m thinking about.

If you can get a first on top of Mixon for Hill that's a huge win for you. There's no way I would add a first to Mixon for Hill. ADP has them ranked close.
12 Team (2014 Champ, 2016 2nd, 2021 Champ) 1.0 PPR, 1.5 TE, Superflex, Start 9, 1-2 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-3 TE

QB - J. Hurts, M. Stafford, K. Cousins
RB - S. Barkley, D. Cook, E. Elliot, T. Pollard, A. Mattison
WR - D. Adams, DK Metcalf, A. Cooper, C. Ridley, R. Anderson, C. Davis, J. Jones
TE - M. Andrews, G. Kittle, M. Cox

Hill has way lower risk. I would want a mid first to take on Mixon's risk. At this point HOPE not production is driving Mixon's value. He may actually be the worst RB in that division.

The odds of Mixon becoming a 3 down back is speculative at best. He needs to take a major step. Hill has already taken that step.

X2.
Hill has shown he can produce in both his seasons, and he has done so with remarkable efficiency, pretty much the polar opposite for Mixon, who looks like his production will not be efficient but based more on volume.

To me the offer is fair as is. I prefer Mixon myself. I think it’s better for your team also. If you can get something added to Mixon then that’s a plus for you
