In a Vacuum Trade Offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

In a Vacuum Trade Offer

Postby ThatGuyBrian » Mon Jun 18, 2018 1:11 pm

For the team in my sig does this trade make sense?

I would sent: 2018 2nd round pick (20th overall)
He sends: Keenan Cole and Corey Coleman

Just a little information. I have pick 16 and 20 which I would be targeting DJ Chark and Antonio Callaway, who I think ultimately end up being better then the two receivers involved in the trade. I know Callaway has his issues but he is still a really good receiver.

Thoughts?

Anything better left in the draft to choose from?

if not id take Coleman, I like his potential better. Unless your are dead set on Calloway then pass. You don't want to have 2 Brown WR on your team do ya? lol

I'd assume neither of the players or the guy who's taken with the 20th pick ever do anything. Which is why I'd rather gamble on the two WRs over the one draft pick.

I see Callaway as a better player than Coleman when he walks in the door. No I really don't want two Browns WRs on my team especially when they are the potential third and fourth options on the depth chart.

The draft is in August so there is no rush to make this trade, it was just offered to me.

Well I would tend to follow that train of thought but I drafted Juju in the fourth round and he has been pretty good. I am not dead set on any player but I having pick 20 gives me options to get a better player than those two. Just my thought process.

Not a fan of coleman, but he’s still young and was a good prospect coming out. Or should I say athlete, his hands suck as do his routes but he ran fast at Baylor. I like Keelan a great deal however as he can play football. I would easily take two wr prospects over one, as long as I liked at least one of them.

I’m not mad about someone thinking Callaway is better than Coleman off the bat. Draft capital and my personal opinion and current adp all argue for Coleman but it’s not outlandish

What is outlandish is getting juju in the 4th. Lowest I recall seeing him was maybe a 2nd

I don't think its an idiot league by any means but thanks for the generalization. I just think people in each league have different values and needs which can dictate value fluctuations. In two other leagues I am in he went in the first and the 3rd. It also depends on league size. This was a ten team league and was pick 31 which would be a late 3rd in 12 team leagues.

I would easily take both for the pick. I think Coleman is worth that alone.
