Trubisky or ARob in a SF

Postby lilsoapjetski » Sun Jun 17, 2018 10:44 am

I just recently completed the startup so the team isn't in my sig yet but I was offered this trade this morning.

12 team SF .5 PPR, 5pt passing TD (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 3 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 SuperFlex)

I give: Mitch Trubisky, Jordan Mathews

I receive: Allen Robinson and Piere Garcon

My other QB's are Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Nick Foles and Lamar Jackson

My noteworthy WR's are Keenan Allen, Alshon Jeffery, Mike Williams and Tyler Lockett (The rest is mostly bench fodder)

On face value I think that Trubisky is worth more than ARob being a SF with 5pt passing TD as well. But WR depth is obviously a need for me. Should I do it or ask for more? The only starting QB's the other owner has is Brady and Bortles

Thanks all in advance!

I voted for Trubisky side for value.
For your roster, I think you improve, while simultaneously losing some value on the trade.

I went with the ARob side but don’t mind Trib.

Even though it's a sf, Arob's adp is much higher but do agree you may be able to get a lil' bit more...

Not high on Trubisky at all. ARob pretty easily for me.

It's slightly alarming jax let him go to give Moncrief a ton of money and coughlin really hasn't made any mistakes. Trubisky for me.

The two are pretty even in value for me. I think Arob makes more sense for your team though. Just out of curiosity, who went first between the two in the startup and by how much?

I'm in the middle of a QB startup with buffed QB scoring (see sig) and Trubisky went two full rounds later than Robinson, although we also start more WRs than a normal league.
1R Dynasty - QB/RB/WR/TE/SUPERFLEX/FLEX/FLEX/FLEX/FLEX/FLEX (startup in progress):

QB: Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Drew Brees, Baker Mayfield
RB: Rashaad Penny, Nyheim Hines
WR: Keenan Allen, Julio Jones, Jarvis Landry, Jamison Crowder, Tyler Lockett, Randall Cobb, Chris Hogan, Anthony Miller
TE: Travis Kelce, Mike Gesicki, Jack Doyle

Picks: 13.05, 13.06, 13.09, 14.03, 16.03, etc.

QB scoring: 1 point/20 yards, 0.5 per completion, -0.5 per incompletion, 6/-4 TD/INT, 0.2 per first down
RB: 0.5 points per first down, PPR
WR: 1 point per first down, PPR
TE: 1.5 PPR, 1.5 points per first down
0.1 points per return yard

SF value is on the trub side, plus jmatt might be brought back to life in NE. Losing value to address a position of need isn’t a horrible thing. Get a little more sugar added to the other side. Maybe you should be more worried about how AR15 is coming off an acl injury on a new team, both of which take 2 years to get back into a groove.
12 team superflex qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/wr/te/flex/superflex
Starters in caps.
QB: DAK, BLAKE
Rb: BARKLEY, 4NETTE, HENRY, Yeldon, J.Hill, M. Gillislee.
Wr: NUK, COOKS, AR15, FUNCHESS, Jmatt, Pryor, Boyd, M. Lee, Cole, K. Wright, E. Decker
TE: ENGRAM, Olsen, Ebron

2018 1.12
2019 1,2, 2, 4

16 team superflex

I took Trubisky 5.1 and he took ARob 5.4. The run on QBs had just took place and I wanted a good 3rd option at QB after Arod and cam so I don't regret it.

The other other has since backed out of the trade though. Not worried about it though, he's the one with 2 qbs in a SF
