x2 Howard is the clear choice here for me as well.
He already owns a share of Howard.

LoL thanks for clarifying, Skip. I put the details in the OP that only one copy of a player can be on one team along with my current roster

i think i would start thinking about drafting Hunter Henry...in a 2ppr TE league, if he wasn't on IR he would have been drafted around the time of Ertz...huge value here, even though he will not contribute this season
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

I agree. He’s on my radar, but I doubt he makes it to my 8.12 pick. But you never know. People are already starting to take 2020 Devy players.

Postby EAGLES » Sat Jun 23, 2018 11:49 pm

OP updated to reflect the middle of the 8th moves to get the last copy of Bortles. I need to come up with a game plan for the next pick. I think a copy of Marvin/Demaryius/Kupp will be there, but I may need to take a look at another TE (this being a 2 PPR TE premium) before I lose out on them.

Current Roster as of the 8th round:
Rodgers / Wilson / Bortles
Gordon / Freeman / Howard
TY Hilton / Baldwin
Ertz

Marvin or Kupp just depends if you want to go for the dub this year or go alittle younger with Kupp.

Re: SFlex StartUp - Opinions Needed *Updated Middle of 9th*

Postby EAGLES » Mon Jun 25, 2018 8:35 pm

OP updated with # of copies left of the best players available. Coming up on my 9th round pick. Need to decide on adding another RB with upside (we have 5 flex spots) such as Ingram/Ajayi or go with another vet WR like Tate/M Jones/DT.

Current Roster:
Rodgers / Wilson / Bortles
Gordon / Freeman / Howard
TY Hilton / Baldwin
Ertz

That's a very nice team so far. I think I'd go with Tate given that you're set up to immediately compete.

I actually ended up taking Tate. Figured he’d be a good add for his yearly consistency. I’ll look to add younger, upside WRs later to balance out this older WR core.

Current roster as of 9th:
Rodgers / Wilson / Bortles
Gordon / Freeman / Howard
TY Hilton / Baldwin / Tate
Ertz

Excellently balanced top to bottom with both production and quality.

Thanks, Skip! I’m pretty pleased with the team so far. I should still be able to get a decent starter with my 10.12 pick to complete my starting lineup. I think this team can be a heavy contender if I can land on a couple of surprise value picks in rounds 12-15. Hoping more people keep taking Devy players so that value keeps falling to me

OP updated, coming up to the end of the 10th round. My next pick isn’t until the end of the 12th round so I need to decide on whether or not taking Ingram is too soon taking into account his 4 game suspension (I have the RB depth so wouldn’t be worried about the suspension and he could be a clutch addition to my 5 flex spots after week 4) or go ahead and make sure to grab my 2nd TE.

What options are there at TE?

Ingram in the 10th is a steal

I want to say go WR here because that's your weakest (or oldest) position, but don't love any of the guys there. Ingram is probably the best value and you'd probably be able to trade him later during the season for a much better TE than Doyle.
