Who on my roster would you be happy moving for the 1.10?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Who on my roster would you be happy moving for the 1.10?

Postby sammyz » Thu Jun 14, 2018 1:07 pm

League winner still owns the 1.10 in a 10 team league, generally prefers players to picks so I'm going to try to make a move.

I own 1.02 (Guice I think) and 1.07 (Hopefully Moore) and would hope to target Sutton or best RB available (if some slip) at 1.10. Who on this roster is expendable enough and valuable enough that I should move for someone I could get at 1.10?

I was thinking someone like Collins, Duke Johnson or Hogan+3.07.

Anything on my roster that jumps out to you as a better move to try? Maybe something like Trent Taylor + TJ Yeldon? (He's the Fournette owner and Yeldon is a FA next year)

If you can get it for the Hogan deal I would do it easily. If he needs a TE maybe Burton?

Although he prefers players than picks, maybe even ask who he would trade you for your 1.07 for his 1.10 and a player.

Probably not what you want but still perhaps worth asking the question as I don't see a huge difference between 1.07 and 1.10 and you may pick up a bargain.

As for your original question, I may be tempted to offer Duke Johnson as despite his new contract, there is a lot of competition at RB and with Gordon and Landry in the team, he won't get as many receptions as he has had in previous years.

Names like Hogan, Taylor, and even Yeldon probably aren't going to move the needle at all. For a contender, someone like Collins or Duke would be much more appealing, but also depends on his roster.

I think your ideas of Hogan, Collins, or Duke + a 3rd are correct. Maybe try Collins for 1.10 straight up at first. For reference, in one of my leagues I traded Dion Lewis + 2019 2nd + 2019 3rd for 1.12 where I drafted DJ Moore.

Duke or Collins might get it done if he is desperate for a RB which I doubt since he was league champ. My guess is you would have to give up Baldwin and maybe you could ask for a little more on top of the 1.10.

His roster isn't as strong THIS year as it would seem. He's got Tyreek and Theielen as starters, but then Martavis Bryant, Will Fuller, Treadwell...it gets thin for him. I'm thinking maybe Yeldon+Hogan gets it done? Somehow this feels like an overpay to me, because I think Hogan has a great year this year and Yeldon will wind up a starter next year, but at present it's all ???

Wether his roster is strong or not, he isnt going to accept Hogan and Yeldon for a 1st round pick dude....

If I owned the 1.10 I would not trade it for any of the players you have mentioned, I'm not sure why anyone would, especially in a 10 team

Yeldon and Hogan for 1.10 is definately NOT an overpay. If he takes that, laughb all the way to the bank

Agree with the above. Collins/Duke + 3.07 or Yeldon may do it. Start with Collins or Duke alone first and go from there. Hogan + 3.07 (or Yeldon) + a second may do it, but just them without the pick is way off.

I think I'm going to come in with Duke + Allison + 3.07 and see what he says. It's the kind of thing I might do in some years and he at least talks as if a pick at the back of the first is pure dart throw.

I would start with Collins straight up, but at least what you’re adding isn’t much you certainly won’t miss it
