Alex Collins value in 2018 RB class?

I believe Alex Collins will have a good year and is underrated, and the owner who is trading him is asking for the 8 pick as the core (presumably to add one of the RBs).

Where would you guys put Alex in the current draft crop, would you take him after Royce, and Kerryon? Would I be best to hold the pick here and take one of the younger guys if I'm in a state of "competitive rebuild." I don't own my own picks so am trying to stay competitive but not going all out (there are two powerhouse teams that own the present and fighting back is futile!) My view is that Alex has 1.09 value in this years group, so I am trying to package the 8 for Alex a little sweetener (2nd rounder or something)

I have picks 1.04, 1.08, 1.09, 1.12, 2.14, 3.01 this season and 4 firsts next season.
.5 PPR, my current RBs are Crowell, Perine, Marshawn so I definitely need to use those early picks on RB or bring in Collins, thanks for any input!

I'd prefer Royce and Kerryon over Collins. To me I'd really only consider him at a price tag of 1.12 or later. Even then I'd have a hard time giving up a 1st for Collins.

I'd say Collins is worth a late 1st / early 2nd to most. I'd try to offer the 1.12 straight up for him. If they doesn't work, then I'd just offer the 1.09 straight up. I'd take him over rookies like Freeman and Johnson.

I just traded Collins and 2.03 for 1.07 and 2.12. So pretty much late 1st value. I like Collins but had exposure in another league and like the options available at 1.07.

I’d place Collins at the 2.01 range in this year draft class because there are 4 WR I’d also much prefer over him.

As early as 1.11 or 1.12 I'm ok with. Ideally no more than an early-mid 2nd.
