Price check on some older WRs.

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Price check on some older WRs.

Postby Z$$$ » Thu Jun 07, 2018 9:20 am

Just seeing what the picks comparison was for older players like Crabtree (Team 1 in sig), DT and Jordy (both Team 2 in sig)?

If I were to package DT and Jordy together for a WR needy team, what RB could I target with their combined value? I know getting rid of those two would deplete my WR depth, but I can grab 2 with my 1.12 and 2.1 picks.

Thanks!

Jordy and Crabby are probably worth a 2nd to both the buyer and seller, personally i probably wouldnt go after crabtree but i see the appeal if the pprice is right

DT you will probably have to pony up a mid first.

I would look to trade Jordy and Crabtree for 2nds, or younger WRs/RBs. Maybe even look to upgrade QB

DT a late 1st - Crabtree should be 2.3-2.4 range.

For Crabtree I’m thinking going for Lamar Miller could be good, I know a lot of people are down on him but I think he’s going to be very useful and I’m just not sold on foreman. Maybe, maybe if the team that is WR needy has Cohen you could try.

For DT, similar to Cohen, if a team that has McKinnon is desperate, you could try and pry him. Other good candidates for me are kerryon and freeman, but all depends on their rookie fever and obviously if they’re rebuilding. Last option is Ingram if you’re willing to wait the 4 games and the other guy is not

DT is worth at least a late 1st to me. Jordy and Crabtree don't have as much value to me and would sell them for a 2nd in a heartbeat. I don't think adding Jordy to DT would really add much value to me. I'd rather package Jordy and Crabtree and see if you can get anything decent for them, or at least sell them individually for 2nd round value.

You can target whoever you want but it all comes down to the other team. Are they deeper at rb and super thin at wr then you have a better shot. But trying to package two aging wr's will be tough to get much in return, it may be a low end rb2 most likely. I'd think about maybe packaging a wr and possibly your 2nd for a mid first rd pick.

crabtree will get you more in season. i would move jordy right now before people see hes toast and get whatever you can, a 2nd feels right.

crabtree is goingto the team that has the most available production (meaning they lost all the guys who got them yards last year, Mike wallace, ben watson, maclin) i would bet anything that he has a big game or two early on in the year and you can sell him to a contender for youth player+2nd or possibly even a late 1st.

I agree with this. Crab will have people calling you early in the season... I'm liking him for redraft. Jordy is close to done.

As a few have noted, Crabtree should surprise some with decent production given the lack of personnel in BAL. I bought him this off-season for a 3rd, but would not sell for less than a mid-2nd and would expect an early one.

Thomas is a late 1st to early 2nd. I don't think I would hesitate much if an early 2nd was offered.

Jordy is a late 2nd, at best. I do not believe he is going to show much in OAK.

Packing both, Jordy and Crabtree, I would target Shady/Miller/Ajayi/Freeman (ATL).

I think Jordy is probably cooked but I’d give a 2nd for Crabtree, he should have a nice stint in BAL, unless you’re in a rebuild. I shipped off Jordy/3rd for Ingram last week and was thrilled.
