Guice vs. the other 3

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Guice vs. the other 3

Postby hudini33 » Thu May 31, 2018 11:55 am

Just curious, as I don't have any of these picks, but what's the realistic difference between Guice and Chubb/Michel/Penny?

Pretty small. But in my rankings there are a tiers there.

Guice/Penny

Chubb

Michel

They are all really good players. Immediate/highest fantasy production should be in favor of Penny and Michel. Chubb will have to possibly wait even as long as next season to really see his touches go up but hes an athletic freak and his OC is Todd Haley, and he will probably rarely ever face stacked boxes with the weapons the Browns currently possess. Guice to me is the most talented in a vacuum but has the annoyance of a very good 3rd down back that will be used.

I have them ranked Guice, Chubb, Penny, Michel..as this is dynasty.

In a redraft, for this season only, and in PPR...I would say Penny, Michel, Guice, Chubb

Not huge, but I still prefer Guice to all of them. I'd rank them as Guice, Michel, Chubb, and then Penny.

Gap is pretty small. I'd go Guice at 1.2 for sure, but would be happy picking up an early 2nd to move back to 3, 4, or 5

Small gaps but for me it's...

Penny
Michel
Guice
Chubb

Guice and Chubb look destined to be 2 down backs.

You're going to find these guys in pretty much any order. I'd rather have Chubb than the other three.

I think people are going to regret not having Freeman higher. I’d still take Guice at 1.02, but Royce would be next for me over the other guys.

I am hesitant yet to jump on the Penny bandwagon. I had a lower grade on him than Michel and Guice pre-draft and one spot above Chubb pre-draft and when in doubt I tend to stick to my initial thoughts. That being said his situation is probably the best short term. I have it Guice Michel Penny Chubb.
