Rank these TE's

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rank these TE's

Postby keebs3 » Sat May 26, 2018 5:50 pm

I'm looking for some advice on my TE situation for team 1.

I own Walker and Kettle that I'll be keeping for sure, I also have ASJ on my roster. But have a few options and I have room to keep 1 more TE if I want to take a few shots. How would you rank these guys, and is there anyone you would need to keep? Especially Jonnu- as a Walker owner?

For RSJ, you need to assume Rosen builds a rapport with him. For Hooper the qb chemistry is already there (somewhat)
Granted, for me they're neck and neck and I'm not really married to either.

Honestly though, I like all of these guys better than Carson, Breida, Pryor or Treadwell. I would drop those scrubs and keep them all.

I have 4 picks in our draft, so I need to cut 2 more if I want to use them all. I figure Treadwell, Pryor are two gone pretty easy. So I guess it comes down to a 4th TE or Breida or T. Williams

Terrance or Tyrell? I would cut the former but hold the latter. And I wouldn’t cut any of the players mentioned just to make a mid 5th round pick. I’d rather have Breida, Treadwell or another TE than the 5.07. Are you allowed to just forfeit the pick and keep an extra player? Obviously, try to trade it first, even if it just means moving up a spot or two in the 3rd, but if you can’t, I wouldn’t hesitate to just eat that pick and keep an extra guy you already have.

Yeah it's Tyrell, I do want to hold, especially since I have Keenan and Williams.
I've strongly considered just forfeiting my 5th rounder to keep an extra guy, we can do that. The reason I hesitate is because sometimes other teams only keep 15 players to use all 6 rounds of picks- creating a deeper Rookie/FA pool. I can often find gems in the later rounds. I hate having to drop Treadwell, I so want to give him another year, even though it seems over at this point.
I'll keep trying to move my 5th, as you suggested.
Thanks for the advice!
