Godwin or 1.08?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Godwin or 1.08?

Postby jp4703 » Sat May 26, 2018 12:38 pm

Which side? This would be for the team in my sig.

1.08 would probably land me a starting RB, or the 2nd best WR in the class.
16 team - 42rosters - 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2FLEX, 1PK, 3DE/DL, 2DB, 2LB, 1DFLEX
QB: D. Brees, M. Stafford.
RB: L. Bell, D. Cook, J. Conner, M. Sanders, A. Blue, J. Ajayi, A. Barnes.
WR: M. Thomas, A.J. Green, J. Jones, C. Godwin, Z. Jones, J. Reynolds, K. Kirkwood, J. Moore, J. Hurd, T. Benjamin.
TE: Z. Ertz, J. Smith, M. Andrews, D. Waller, J. Sternberger.
K: M. Badgley.
DB: L. Collins, J. Johnson, J. Tart, C. Geathers, M. Blair.
DL: C. Dunlap, D. Barnett, J. Casey, B. Graham, G. McCoy, J. Allen.
LB: T. Whitehead, J. Hicks, J. Collins, J. Brown, K. White, G. Avery, C. Barton, B. Cashman, J. Ryan, J. Tavai, Q. Williams.

I like Godwin but I would take the pick. Lots of mouths to feed in TB. Which RB do you think would be around then?
12 team. .5 PPR, 6pt passing, 6 pt rushing/receiving. 25 man roster.
Start - QB RB WR WR TE Flex Flex DL DL LB LB DB DB IDP Flex
Keepers offense - 1 QB 1 RB 1 WR 1 TE 1 FLEX
defense - 3 of any position
rookies - 3 of any position

QB: Cousins, Stroud (R)
RB: Hall
WR: G Wilson, Olave, Dell (R)
TE: Kelce
DE: Josh Allen
LB: Q Walker, E Jones
DB: D James

Own and like Godwin but would very easily go with the 1.08 here.

I think Johnson or Freeman might be around. RB's are hard to come by in this league so I'd be surprised if more then 1 of the top 8 RB's would be available.

Another for the pick. With your team you'd be good with either the RB or WR.

With this draft class? Gimme the 1.08 all the way! I'd prolly go as far as 2.01, depending on who is still on the board.

Keep in mind its a 16 team league so 2.01 would be 17th overall.

If I get this pick I think I'd just the remaining RB left. Then use the waivers to find some depth at WR because MT, and AJ have plenty of years left in them and Crabtree can give me another 2 years hopefully. Also one of the 2019 firsts I have is projected a high first rounder so I'm hoping to draft a good WR next year.

Ah ok, sorry, I didn't see it was 16 team, just means I'd go the equivalent, which would be 1.13 then.

1.8
Legit #1 upside WR's in this draft at 1.8 and one RB with upside should be left.
