Arob/parker or adams/pryor?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Arob/parker or adams/pryor?

Postby vixen » Fri May 25, 2018 4:56 pm

this is for team 2 in my sig....ppr league

current lineup would likely be:
Luck
DJ, Freeman
Hopkins, Diggs, Arob,
flex1: mcKinnon
flex2: Watkins/Parker/Crowell/CJA

i was thinking about countering with
Cousins/Adams for Arob/Parker/Tannehill

what do you think?
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc

ARob and Adams seem about even. As much as I hate myself for saying or even thinking this, Parker has a better chance of retaining value than Pryor.

thanks, that is what i was thinking...i do think that adams is slightly more valuable than Arob, but the difference in value between parker and pryor outweighs that gain..

Yeah this sounds about right. I value Adams higher than Arob but am also having trouble seeing much value for Pryor at all. He already got hurt again in the first week of OTAs.

Wow I wish I could find any single Adams owner in any of my leagues that values ARob as much as him, or even remotely in the same ballpark as him.

Adams >>> ARob and Parker doesn't come close to closing the gap.

QB: Herbert, Brady
RB: Barkley, Mixon, Jav Williams, Pierce, Drake
WR: Jefferson, AJ Brown, Metcalf, Hopkins, Peoples-Jones

Think you are wrong about Parker but that's why we play the game. He has loads of talent but just hasn't remained healthy. One of my breakout candidates this season.

I do like Adams but the new system in Chicago is going surprise a lot of people this season I suspect. Don't think Pryor makes up enough in this deal.

I've got both, but I think AROB is a lot of mystery at this point. I'd say Adams>AROB. But that is pretty fluid going into this season.
I think Bortles really is bleep, but the question becomes how much better is Trubisky? We shall see.

On what world is Adams worth that much 😂 he’s just doing what James jones and Cobb did in years past.

Arob has had a 1400 yard 14 td season at 22, Adams hasn’t had a 1000 yard season. Adams past 2 seasons look a lot like what James jones used to do for them lol seems packers change up who gets a bunch of red zone looks every other year.

Give me arob and Parker, I like both of their ceilings over Adams. Parker has his 5th year option exercised, they don’t do that for wrs they don’t believe in...Parker was covered by top 30 corners more than anyone in the league outside of ab, I might drink the Coolaide for 1 more year now that laundry’s gone lol but only 1 more, I promise.

Edit: just to clarify, I don’t think Parker is worth more than Adams lol more that Adams is not worth more than arob, but I’d say Adams and arob are = and Parker being high potential icing on top.

AROB side for me but it’s close. I like Adams a little more than AROB but it’s mainly due to situation and Pryor is basically worthless to me so Parker makes up the gap.

If you believe in Parker, then take the Arob side.

If you don't, then both the second pieces of this deal go into the dumpster and Adams>Arob
