Re: D.Cook or Hunt
I'd take Hunt over Cook. I do really like Cook though.

Re: D.Cook or Hunt
Cook for me, but Hunt is worth more atm so the value is on his side.
Re: D.Cook or Hunt
2018 means more than 2017.
Ware's return and dumbo Charc West are going to eat into Hunt's volume and goal line touches.
Alex Smith is a high end QB for supporting RB production. His mobility, coupled with his handoff technique (for run fakes and such), creates space for RBs. Maybe Mahomes can be similarly useful in this respect.
Dalvin is in an ideal situation for running. They have an elite defence and their receivers and new QB will take off pressure from him.
I think Dalvin outperforms Hunt this year and in the future.

Dalvin for me, but i had him above hunt predraft and that didn't change after the NFL draft...i agree, however, that Hunt is probably higher right now due to injury

Re: D.Cook or Hunt
I prefer cook as a runningback, but based on pure value... Hunt is worth more. I’m a big cook fan, so as someone stated above; it I had hunt I’d trade him for cook+

See my previous comment about Reids RB usage. I have no idea where people get this idea that West and Ware will eat into Hunts usage.Mrowmix wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 7:03 pm 2018 means more than 2017.

Reid runs a 1 back system when he's got someone who's even marginally talented. He did it with JC, Westbrook, Duce and even Ware to some extent in 2016.
The only time he used multiple backs in different games was in 2015 when JC went down a couple games into the season and he was basically auditioning West and Ware in different games for the role.
Re: D.Cook or Hunt
I don't either. Both Ware and West are backup level players. It would be like saying Rod Smith would eat into Zeke's touches. Silly.CharlieKelly wrote: ↑Sat May 26, 2018 6:01 am I have no idea where people get this idea that West and Ware will eat into Hunts usage.
I fully expect Hunt to improve on his 2017 numbers with an increased number of carries and receptions. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him lead the league in total yardage this season.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: D.Cook or Hunt
I would take Cook between the 2.
Re: D.Cook or Hunt
I agree with the narrative that Reid feeds RB1s, and successfully. But he still has an insane knack for ticking me off. And had I owned Hunt last year during that mid season slump I woulda sold. Guy in my league sent him off for Kamara and at the time I thought it was a nice move (were other parts involved wasn’t straight up). Also Reid has cost me money to Vegas.
It’s clear the consensus value is on the Hunt side in this forum at least. Personally my gut says Cook right now, and not by much. I think they have the same ceiling which is league leading.

Re: D.Cook or Hunt
Easily Hunt, cook will be good but he'll won't lead the league in rushing anytime in his career imo. He'll have some good games but will struggle with injuries and consistency. Hunt may not lead again either but he'll be in the mix for a few more yrs.
Re: D.Cook or Hunt
I still think Hunt gets 250+ carries and around 50 receptions so I'm not huge on the Ware/West will eat into Hunt's touches argument but in Ware's defense he isn't backup level....he was extremely serviceable the year before Hunt. I think his Career average YPC is like 4.3 and he is well above the NFL average at receiving. With that being said Hunt is much much better but that is saying more about Hunt's talent than it is about Ware's talent.skip wrote: ↑Sat May 26, 2018 11:33 amI don't either. Re: D.Cook or Hunt
Hunt should clearly have more value and should continue to produce well. I still think Cook is slightly more talented and this could be much closer or even reveresed this time next year, but I think more Cook owners would sell him for Hunt straight up than the other way around.
