Enough for MT?

Postby keebs3 » Thu May 24, 2018 11:25 pm

Trying to clear some roster space and upgrade. Is this enough for MT?

Give: Mason Rudolph (2QB league to the Big Ben Owner), Brandon Cooks (Oregon State fan), Aaron Jones (owes Ty, needs RB's badly), and Corey Coleman

Get: Michael Thomas and Patriots D

Best Ball League, team 2.

You're trying to buy a Ferrari with a Mustang and a bunch of scrap parts.
It wouldn't be enough for me, Mason Rudolph is surely no heir to Big Ben, CC and Aaron Jones are toss ups, and Cooks is a solid but unspectacular WR1(ish) who is going to a QB who may not be able to support one.
It's not a bad offer but I wouldn't send MT for that package

"Trying to clear some roster space" will rarely, if ever, equal "upgrade"

So a back up qb guaranteed nothing, a rb who is a crowded backfield guaranteed nothing, a decent wr on his 3rd team in 3 years and another wr who hasn’t stayed healthy. Yup, he should easily reject this.

I still like Cooks a lot, but not enough for Thomas. Cooks + Trubisky should be a very fair offer in 2QB if the Roethlisberger owner needs QB help or wants to get younger, and you can afford to lose Trubisky given your QB depth.

I like this idea. It may work in a 2 QB league and would be a great deal for you.

Good ideas, fellas!
I knew it was short but didn't realize by how much. Got me thinking about some other upgrades using Trubisky and Cooks or Diggs. Or all 3 for Nuk and Foles or something.
Thanks all
