Superflex Team Advice

Postby BoltUp » Wed May 23, 2018 10:48 pm

Won the league for the first time last year and am looking for some advice on my roster to stay competitive. I am already looking to trade for a QB3 behind Brees/JimmyG, but I think as long as 2 or 3 of my rookie RB's perform I will be competitive again this year. Let me know what you think.

Good looking WR's a couple of good QB's. Tons of question marks that need to play out at RB. Could be a very good season for you if everything falls into place at RB. Definitely would look into getting a 3rd QB. Did you take Pettis with rookie QB's on the board?

help on my SF question?

I like it, test the market with Brees, Green and Rudolph maybe somebody is willing to pay up, but I doubt it... otherwise stay tight and maybe target a TE like Kittle/Everett go get young fresh blood in there (I don't trust Rudolph too much).

How did your rookie draft go? Can you trade one of your rookie RBs + 2nd for Mayfield or Rosen?

I agree with your assessment, that if your rookie RBs produce, you should compete again. With that said, I'd maybe look to package two of those rookies and get someone proven who you know will help you right away.

I think you need some combo of rookie rbs and Henry to perform this year to be competitive. If they do your team is solid and young at rb.

No I took Pettis at pick 2.11 and the only "decent" QB left was Mason Rudolph. I don't see him having a chance at starting in the next few years (2-3, I don't think he retires) without a Big Ben injury, and even then he'd be a 3rd round Qb and could bring in competition when Ben retires.

I'll check out your question

Most of my league mates think Brees is so old that his value is virtually nothing. I think at this point he's worth more to have the next few years while I compete for another ship and hope for him to continue top 5QB production till he retires.

I think you already have a QB 3 behind Brees and Jimmy G. Not for this year, but next. His name is Nick Foles.

I know it's after the fact, but I agree that one of these (most likely) 1st round picks should have been spent on a QB. Good luck trading for one after the fact. I'd try a 2 for 1 to try for a rookie signal caller. Barring that, you might be able to get another older option, like Rivers, cheaper.
