Break it down or build it up?!

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Break it down or build it up?!

For team 1 in signature.... 2 QB/2TE league

Here are top competitors going into this year....

QB: Tom Brady, Russell Wilson
RB: Todd Gurley, Mark Ingram
WR: AJ Green, Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson, Amari Cooper
TE: Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce

QB: Carson Wentz, Deshaun Watson
RB: Ezekial Elliot, Melvin Gordon, Dalvin Cook
WR: Michael Thomas, Stefon Diggs, Josh Gordon
TE: Zach Ertz, Mike Gesicki

QB: Alex Smith, Marcus Mariota
RB: Kareem Hunt, Devonta Freeman, Lamar Miller
WR: Brandin Cooks, Adam Thielen, Doug Baldwin
TE: Delanie Walker, Jared Cook

QB: Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes
RB: Saquon Barkley, Leonard Fournette, Joe Mixon
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Davante Adams, Keenan Allen
TE: Greg Olsen, David Njoku

I won three years ago... and every year since have come up short with injuries it seems. Without Kamara exploding last year I'm not sure I would have been as reluctant to go for it. Not really sure where to go with this team.... it's aging... and my RBs are not your traditional 3 down guys. Thoughts on what to do with this team?

I think you're a contender, though WR depth is an issue.

I would try to go for a championship this year, I think you can be competitive and make the playoffs and once your in, who knows what will happen. However if your season goes sideways quick in the first half of the year then I would look to start selling off some of your older assets to contenders.

Ditto. How did your league allow one owner to come away with Gronk and Kelce in a 2TE league? If he's got RB depth to provide him enough insurance until Ingram gets back, he's going to take home 1st or 2nd place. No doubt.

Contender, don't throw in the towel just yet. RB's are a little shaky for you. I might shop Dez, Jordy, or Reed and see if you can grab a solid WR or RB.

Your RB are lighter than WR, but you should still be able to contend this year if healthy.
