Would you take Burton at 2.01?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Would you take Burton at 2.01?

Postby Jcedwards » Wed May 23, 2018 9:51 am

Is this a good spot for him or too early to take him?

I feel like I will be good at RB (after I take Barkley with 1.01). WR may also be fine, but there are question marks around Coleman and Parker. TE could be solid for me without Burton, but Njoku has to take a step forward and Eifert has to stay healthy.

I feel like I could use Burton more, but it would be nice to have another WR (in case Parker and Coleman flame out).

Another option: Get WR at that pick and just target Kittle at 3.03/ 3.06

Way too early for Burton. I'd say Kittle = mid 2nd and Burton = late 2nd.

Oh wow. I wouldn't have thought that Kittle would be above Burton. So definitely use 2.01 on a WR and look to hopefully get one of Burton/ Kittle at 3.03 then?

Same may have Burton > Kittle, but I disagree with that. I'd go BPA at 2.01, whether it's RB or WR. I don't love any of the rookie TEs or Kittle / Burton enough to take them at 2.01. You should be okay at TE with Njoku and Eifert.
