Lost Hunter Henry. Options for TE?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Lost Hunter Henry. Options for TE?

Postby hockeyBjj » Wed May 23, 2018 5:48 am

Team 1 in sig. My only two TEs were Hunter Henry and Kyle Rudolph. yes I was thin, but I still felt very comfortable with that position being good enough and let me focus on RBs and WRs

Now, well not so much, and at a minimum I need someone for a bye week. Any lower priced targets to go after? I'd be perfectly happy with a 1 year rental to be honest as HH should be back fine. I dropped a dollar on Antonio Gates for FAAB bucks. Was told by a friend his Tyler Eifert is for sale, no idea the cost of that tho

Pretty much cleared out my draft picks as I see myself ready to compete. To get a TE I'd have to either move a player or my 19 2nd as the only pick that matters

I am going to start targeting Vance McDonald. He is easily the most athletic TE the Steelers have had in a long long team (other than the couple of games out of LGreen) and I think he could be basically a slot receiver with James being an inline blocker.

Thanks for the suggestion. He's on waivers in my league and I have a few droppable players with the deep rosters. Threw 2 bucks on him

Edit: any chance offering Hunter Henry, Kyle Rudoph, and 19 2nd for Ertz would be accepted? Team also has Austin Hooper at TE to use in conjunction with Rudolph for this year

I could only see this working if the Ertz owner is rebuilding. I'd target some veteran guys like Greg Olsen or Delanie Walker. I've seen them sold for late 2nds or even 3rds.

AJS is cheap... can probably pick him off. I like Luke Wilson and V Green as WW pick ups
