Hunter Henry hurt: Burton value??

With Hunter Henry out for the year I have to roll with Kittle as my TE1 and Everett as my backup. Burton is available and I am thinking about trading into the late first round for him. Where does he rank in this year's class and what would be a good value for me (that someone else would value as well) to trade into a spot where I could draft him?

I'm not spending a first for Burton. For all we know Shaheen takes a step forward. Even if he does not step forward, it's hard to see Burton passing Gronk, kelcie, engram, rudolph, etc

Is moncrief a reasonable offer for a mid to early second? (For a Gesicki or Burton type TE)

You have 2 capable QBs as is, no reason at all to take a QB at 2.02 (openly assuming that's what you meant, instead of typed 1.2). Those guys all should be available in the 3rd round for you

Yes I meant 2.2. I don't trust Carr. And am thinking mayfield or Jackson could be studs possibly. So I would like to have that insurance policy in case Carr stumbles. In my league they will definitely be gone by the 3rd round.
I only have room on my roster for 2 draft picks once I add a kicker and streaming Def. So I will either have to drop someone I don't want to to make my 3rd round pick or I can just trade someone like moncrief for an extra pick in the second. And then take either a QB or TE that I didn't pick with my 2.2.
Does this make any sense?lol

People overstate these contracts. Glennon got 15 million and it took him all of 20 minutes to hit the bench.

1. I would not take Burton at 2.02. I think he's worth a late 2nd dart throw.
2. Moncrief is barely worth a 3rd. I highly doubt you will get a 2nd for him.
3. I'd look to trade back from 2.02, maybe something like 2.02 for 2.07 + 2019 3rd and grab Burton there.
