AB for Barkley

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

AB for Barkley

Postby gerg4747 » Tue May 22, 2018 5:12 pm

Would you send AB for Barkley straight up for team in sig? If so, any concerns about going all in on Giants since I own OBJ?

Hmm no I wouldn’t. You’re already deep at RB. I’d rather see if gurley/zeke owners might bite on something.

In a vacuum, probably. When you also have OBJ/Hopkins. Yeah.

Yeah I would, You have OBJ and Hopkins. I'd probably turn around and trade either Henry, Howard, or Freeman for a top WR

In a vacuum, absolutely. But you need the depth at WR. Currently you are 3 deep and then a chasm. If you trade AB and one of two gets hurt you are going to be screwed. If you can acquire at least a WR2 for one of your running backs (Howard maybe) I like it much better then.
Tl;Dr, No, until you have another WR to backup OBJ/Hopkins.

No, without AB, you're only left with two good WRs and you're already pretty stacked at RB.

Barkley value is off the charts. I’d take the value and then work on the rest later. It’s May.... plenty of time to figure out another WR starter. Barkley value is through the roof right now

12 team, 23 man rosters, only have to start 2 WRs. There's no such thing as screwed at WR2 or WR3 in that type of league. It's easy to find guys to fill in there.

This time next year, even if Barkley modestly busts, you probably won't be able to get Barkley for 2 Antonio Browns.

With that team... most likely. You get the upgrade at a position you will start every week and don't lose much at flex. You can move another back for a WR3/Flex

Tough to part with AB but the value is with Barkley.

Thanks for feedback. Current offer I have is 1.1/2019 1st/WR for AB. Having a hard time pulling the trigger. His notable WR are Diggs, Alshon, Corey Davis, Sammy, Baldwin. Which WR would you want included? Is this worth it for AB?
