Amari ++ / Keenan ++

12 team ppr changing to superflex in 2020. Was offered amari Cooper, pick 2.02, early 2019 2nd and 2020 2nd for my Keenan Allen 2019 1st 2020 1st. Feel my team is competitive at the moment so the 1sts would be late. Was thinking about changing the 2020 1st i give up to a 2020 2nd. Thoughts??

I disagree, I think talent wise Cooper is as good, but with his abysmal season last year Allen should be worth more. There is a good chance Cooper bounces back with some good numbers this year (he will command the most targets he's ever seen) and there is a good chance with that he will be worth more than Allen a year from now, BUT, I agree Cooper side should be adding.

Regardless of your belief in Cooper he is the one that has to bounce back while KA is the one thats sitting at #3 WR from last year....you gotta value the stud thats already proven it. If you believe in Cooper and want to move KA from him like you said you better be getting a lot on top because their values are pretty significantly different.

I so disagree with this sentiment here. Amari has had as many 1000 yard seasons as Allen and played 2 less seasons. Allen had a great year last year, but he gets tends to get hurt, and I think people are really discounting Coopers abilities because of a bad year. I agree the Cooper side needs to add, but I think people are wrong on the difference in talent. Cooper in a full 2 years plus younger, and I don't think he has peaked yet. I'd totally flip KA for Cooper if I was getting another piece on top.

They aren't though, not by ADP at least. Everyone is entitled to their own evaluations but community averages gauge that while the Allen side should get something added to give him away, it's not going to be a lot on top from most Cooper owners, whether or not you agree. I made a move similar to this, but gave away Allen and Parker, Garcon and a 3rd and got Cooper and Cooks back, so I understand what you are saying, but I would not want to move Cooper and another significant piece for Allen, as I think he's the better long term player. To each their own.

I disagree - There is NOT a "good" chance that Cooper will be worth more next year. Based on what?
Cooper would have to have an insanely great career year just to reach Keenan's level.
He has not shown he is capable of sustaining that level over a full season.

I don't think KA and Cooper are as far apart as some on here but the picks are definitely on the wrong side given the current value of each player. Plus your team is decent but I don't think it is quite ready to be a contender, so your 2019 1st could be a decent pick, plus you are giving up your 2020 1st when your league is switching to superflex, so 1st will be more valuable in 2020. Definitely do not make this trade.
