AB for Michael Thomas

Wondering if it’d be worth it to offer AB to the Thomas owner. Is AB still worth added value or does Thomas youth balance it out?

I’ve thought about offering the same deal in my league to still have a elite target, but much younger. It’s always a tough decision to make with aging stars, when to pull the plug or ride them into the sunset. I’d say right now with current value / age it’s very close, maybe a swap of picks so the AB owner gets a higher pick in 1st or 2nd rd.

I traded away Julio for MT mid season last year but I think AB will be in a tier of his own for at least 3 more years so thats a hard one....i'd probably want a little on top of MT I guess but I'm not sure hwat

Absolute minority here. I would want to keep Thomas. I think you would be shedding AB at the perfect time. Maximum value. I bet in another year you could not make that trade.

If you're playing long ball then sure, tho really AB should be the best-of-the-best for the next couple of seasons. I would expect MT+ if I were trading away AB.
