Thank you all for the advice. Appreciate it. I do understand that OBJ > Barkley. I did not want to offer a completely lopsided trade especially to a friend, and hence trying to see what was viable.

I was wondering if there might be people who thought otherwise in the league, and if might might be at least worth trying. No harm in trying to cash in on the Barkley hype, right?

I would absolutely cash in on the Barkley hype if someone wants to pony up. But as a fellow 1.01 owner in sig I am not trading him for fair value. Id rather go compete for the title with someone as talented as I expect him to be.

I agree with this. Someone adding on top of OBJ for the 1.01 is hilarious. Would take a significant add on top of the 1.01 for me to even consider moving OBJ.

Dont get me wrong. I think OBJ and 1.1 are close. I see no harm in trying to start high.

That said would you trade for ODB, given my roster. My WR corps is not comprised of studs but when comparing my RB corps which is barebones outside of Henry, WR looks in much better shape.

I'll politely point out that this is not the only fantasy football forum on the internet, and in the other forum I frequent a majority call him ODB.

I can see OBJ as a valid alternative, but I tend to ignore "junior" and therefore ODB makes more sense to me when reading. Either way, I think you can accept that "our own way" of doing something is not the "only way" and try not to be insulting to people (e.g., state that you think his nickname should be OBJ without insulting anyone that thinks differently).

I'm glad that you're the leading authority on this issue and have clarified everything to us.

Except when referring to commonly used lexicon, the meaning can be inferred by common usage. Therefore, provided enough people continue to use ODB, it is an acceptable abbreviation.

It can't hurt to offer those trades out but unless your league doesn't properly value WR then A or B is an instant reject but C seems like a decent offer, I'd probably hang on to Barkley over CMC and Guice though
