OTC 1.07 trade offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

OTC 1.07 trade offer

Postby afrye1 » Mon May 21, 2018 7:59 am

I traded to get 1.07 hoping penny or Chubb would be available during our startup draft. I gave up 2018 2nd and 3rd, and a 2019 first to get 1.07 and a 2019 2nd. Our rookie draft has started and the draft has went like this

1. Barkley (Me)
2. Freeman
3. Guice
4. Sony
5. Chubb
6. Penny
7.???? (Me)

I need RB help bad (team one in sig) and don’t feel I need a qb even though it’s SF. The guy who traded me 1.07 just offered me Dion Lewis, James White, and Sterling Shepard for the 1.07 back. Do I take that or do I take ROJO and hope for the best?

New to SF, but I would think the value is with Mayfield and then trade a qb for a rb

I think so too; however, for what ever reason this league hasn’t valued QBs like I have. I took qb with my first and second in startup and another qb didn’t go until round 5. I’m pretty sure I can get one of the qbs with my 2nd round pick

I like Shepard... but there is more value in a SF for that pick. Look at a few of the teams in the 8-10 spot, see if they need QBs, if so maybe look to fall back again.

If not I'd tell the guy you traded the 1.07 for that you want more than you paid for it back - he's the one with buyers remorse, and doesn't need to know the guy you had hoped to get isn't there. I don't mind lewis / shepard. But maybe do those 2 plus your 2019 1st back for the 1.07 and 2019 2nd that you swapped

I would take Michel and then also trade away Wilson and Cooper for a better WR

I think the answer is Mayfield regardless of team needs...you can sell Luck once he puts up a couple big games in season and fully transform your team needs that way

ETA - the existing offer for 1.07 isn't close at all

Yeah I'd probably snag Mayfield and then move one of your top QB's to get an absolute stud at RB or WR. If you insist on getting RoJo then I think the value is there instead of making the additional trade, Don't really like Sterling Shepherds outlooks going forward, Barkley and Engram and obviously OBJ are ahead of him in targets so I'd take Rojo. But again take Mayfield instead.

this is an easy rojo/freeman/Johnson/ or trade for me. there is no reason to mess with your qb situation imo. you need both rb and wr....If you don't like your options....the pick is worth a ton more than the offer. you still have the top 1qb and wr on the board.

Unless this is an 8-10 team league, I take Mayfield then wait for your leaguemates to realize what a mistake it was ignoring the QB position. Not only is it superflex but its 6 points for every TD! QBs value should be through the roof! IMO you have 3 1st round picks in Rodgers, Wilson and Luck.

No way should you take that. I don't know what else he has to offer you, but you can get a lot more than what he is offering. Freeman is your best option IMO if you stay put at 1.07

I think Mayfield is pretty much the consensus 1.02 in SF...so, I would take Mayfield here pretty easily.

Yeah i agree wiht the others just take bpa and take mayfield you wont regret it come mid season and no one has good qb play and they will trade you a lot more than what you paid to get the 1.07 but if youre 2nd round pick really is that high then i guess take michel or rojo and then wait for qb but i dont like that idea all that much unless youre certain to land baker or rosen with youre 2nd round pick.

The value says take Baker here, but with your trio of qb's and your rb depth I'd take either Sony or Jones here.

I would go Mayfield, but Michel has good value given your team.
