Nearly done drafting my first dynasty team: how’d I do?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

BigBawseRoss wrote: Mon May 21, 2018 7:55 am that team is pretty bad and that trade was not too smart, a random first next year (could end up being 12th pick for all you know) wont help you more than a starting caliber player now (i would guess someone like a Doctson, Parker, collins, howard, njoku, etc could have been had around this spot, require little or no wait to develop, and can be plugged right in to a flex spot at worst)

too often people think "oh a first next year could be Barkely!" when it could also be the next wait and pray prospect. Later in the start up thats a fine move but when you start 10 players and you give up your 9th selection you are quite literally giving up a projected starter (for your fantasy team) in order to wait a year and hope the team you traded with finishes poorly.
Oh man how long have been people talking about Barkley for them to think that way too often???? He must have been touted for years....

As for trading the draft pick, players were not there of that caliber for one and even if they were do you think I could have gotten a 1st round draft pick as a return in them straight up? I believed that that was good value for the area I was drafting.
(Btw Anthony miller went in that spot)

Yikes. Not a huge fan to be honest. RB and WR are both pretty barren behind Evans and Cook. I'd sell some of your players not named Wilson, Cook, Evans, or Ertz for picks ASAP and look to rebuild a bit in 2019.

She's been his wife for 4 years now. I'm sure it's been a lovely marriage.

And I think your trade wasn't a bad idea. Although I wonder which players were still available. No matter what, Doug Martin and Danny Amendola? What were you thinking?!

NFL123 wrote: Sun May 20, 2018 12:41 pm Really good job especially for a first dynasty. With Wilson you don't need to think about QB for many years.

Cook is going to be a star in this league, Lynch should help this year and having Martin was a good idea, Cohen, Johnson, White and Clement are all going to be guys who put up solid numbers and have real value in PPR leagues, especially full PPR like yours. Cohen for example will be great at doing this.

Evans will bounce back this year, Funchess is under rated as a WR1 for the Panthers and although not convinced by Benjamin, he is still the main guy for the Bills. I like Cobb's prospects in Green Bay with Nelson away and only really rookies behind him. Washington will be a star, given time.

Then Ertz is a top 3 TE in a very difficult position to find one of the best, in many ways, it's the toughest as there aren't many elite ones and he certainly is.

Well done!
Funchess is taking a backseat to Moore. The Bills are where WRs go to die.

Panthers you mean. Think you're confused with Kelvin Benjamin.
