Who to take with 1.03?

Postby baldwin415 » Fri May 18, 2018 10:49 am

The guy at 1.02 seems pretty firm on going with Guice. Assuming he goes, who should I target at 1.03?

I prefer Michel, but I think I'm in the minority on that one.

Most people will say Penny for his presumed opportunity. Assuming the coaches can fix whatever is lacking in his pass protection, he shouldn't ever come off the field.

I'd take Penny or Chubb, but really any of those 4 RBs are very close. I'd try to move down to 6 or 7 and get another early 2nd.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Penny is definitely bad in pass protection, and if he were a late 2nd NFL pick or later I'd agree with you about it being concerning for him year 1. But Seattle taking him in the first makes me think they don't care about it. Maybe it is less important to them with Wilson being so mobile?

My fear with moving down to 7 or later is that those guys will all be gone and I need immediate help at RB

Michel. I always prefer talent over opportunity. The opportunity for Michel is not bad, I know people don't like the Patriots, but they are a top 3 scoring offense and Michel will receive the bulk of the carries. Seattle has a horrendous offensive line and they struggle to score at times. I personally would take Michel over Penny.
