Equanimeous or J’Mon?

Postby Bwats123 » Mon May 14, 2018 3:47 pm

Who do you have? Consensus is all over the place between the two of these guys. Obviously it’s Geronimo Allison spot but I feel like one of these guys will be the third receiver by the end of camp. There is a lot of hype around that third WR spot with Jordy gone. Who do you got? Long-term/short term?

J'Mon over ESB given the 2-round difference in draft capital spent.

I'd put JMon and Allison side by side in value.

J'Mon between the two, but don't think either do anything this year.

Everyone will say Jmon More due to draft capital but that didn't stop Aaron Jones from beating out Jamaal Williams last year, I'm going with the guy that I think is bigger and faster in St. Brown. Also its not like a 4th round pick is a pick teams feel they have to make succeed, anything after a 3rd is a dart throw, if St. Brown performs better at camp he could easily be ahead of him on the depth chart.

When I watch J’Mon Moore, I see a very similar player to Adams. Really nice hands and a killer on the quick slant. I can see Rodgers meshing well with his skill set. I think ESB is going to struggle a lot and may not even make the roster. He seems to be DGB-esque in terms of maturity.

Don’t write off Valdez-Scantling either. Dude can fly and has size.

Not buying Geronimo at all. I like all 3 rookies more.

I watched ESB go at 3.07 and happily scooped up J’mon at 3.11. Can’t wait to see how it shakes out!

I liked ESB on tape. Thought he'd need a year or two to develop. Like many of us, i was surprised by his drop to the 7th rd. Considering every team let him fall, perhaps we missed something with him. I can see Moore turning out just fine but it's a toss up. Pre draft i would have said St Brown, but i think you have to go w the guy the team invested in higher. He'll have more opportunity.

A toss up for me, but if I had to choose I go J'Mon.

ESB, much better name. And who I ended up with in my draft.
All my teams suck. And I'm not in your league.

I picked up all three Packers receivers in my draft two weeks ago (J'Mon 3rd, ESB, 4th, MVS 5th) for my practice squad spots in hopes one of them breaks out. I had an excess of picks and don't need to make a decision on whom to cut or put on my PS until week 4 of the preseason.

After first 3 rounds, draft capital correlating to success at WR doesn't exist (from 14team mocker--189 WRs drafted in rounds 4-7, 1 averaged 15+ppg and only 7 averaged 10-15 ppg). Since they're both in the round 4-7 window, If choosing, I'd stick with the player ranked higher before the draft; ESB.
