Trading out of 2018 into 2019 draft

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading out of 2018 into 2019 draft

Postby Crwdstunna » Sun May 06, 2018 8:47 am

For team 1 in sig. After the draft I only like 15 or so prospects coming out so my mid 2nds aren't looking as good anymore. Would you make the following deal?

Give
2.06
2.08
3.01

Get
Likely Mid-Late 2019 1st
3.03

Cheers!

I would do that in a heartbeat. I had 2.07, 3.01 and had 16 top rookies and 18 I was fine with drafting. My pick was the 19th and 24th pick. I just saw the draft from 19-36 interchangeable and I cant distinguish a difference. I tried trading up and there were no takers and one responded that he had a top 16 so me and him had a similar view.
If this offer was on the table for me I would have snap accepted it. I enjoy making seconds into future firsts. Unfortunately the person I have traded seconds with in the past had I believe 6 seconds this year so he wasn't in the market to acquire more.

Ended up making the deal. Thanks guys. Now I'm looking to trade the 2019 1st and 2.04 this year for a RB. What level do you think I could get?

Devonta Freeman?
Jordan Howard?

Those were my initial thoughts on targets. Who else could be within that value range for RB?

Cheers!

You are aiming to high with that. Do you think j Howard is worth. 2019 1 and 2.04 or 2.04, 2.06, 2.08, and a 3rd rounder?
I picked j Howard to ask you about because I believe freemen is worth even more.

While it may not be enough to get the deal done for Howard I certainly think it’s enough to start conversations, yes. If you do not agree that is just fine. What level of RB would you suggest targeting for a 2019 1st and 2.04?

I am not sure you have actually offered anything valuable so I’m not sure if you have started any conversations if you offered that. Where do you project the 2019 1? That may help if that team is garbage
