What to do with 1.11?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What to do with 1.11?

Postby PigeonBoys » Mon Apr 30, 2018 5:41 pm

I already picked up Guice with 1.4 but have my original 1.11 left and nobody high on my list has fallen to me. I have a need at qb in the near future so that’s where I’m leaning. But I’d like to get some advice on how to approach the pick because qbs typically won’t go this early but it’s a need for me. The draft sequence is below.

1. Barkley
2. Penney
3. RoJo
4. Guice
5. K. Johnson
6. Michel
7. Freeman
8. Chubb
9. Ridley
10. Moore

With Cousins in 1QB league, I don’t see the need to take a QB this early to ride the pine.

I'm a big fan of James Washington or Michael Gallup. Can you try back?

I just tried moving the pick and nobody is interested. We have pretty small rosters for a dynasty league so we really only do two rounds before rosters get maxed out.

My apprehension with taking a wr here is that I’d hav to dump two players, probably Djax and Hill for two stashes. My initial thought was to take my qb of the future knowing Keenum isn’t that guy and this appears to be a strong qb class.

I mean, I would do that.. You don't need a QB here.

I’d take Sutton. It makes the most sense with your roster, imo.

Gesecki! If you need a TE, Parker is meh at best so you know Gesecki will be involved in the pass game early and often.

You seem set on QB - you should do that then, based on your roster issues.
Darnold has been my favorite all along, and his landing spot hasn't changed that.
I also like Rosen, but i think he'll slip further in your draft.

At RB, we are definitely dropping to the next tier in your draft. I don't know which one will be less of a roster clogger. I'd lean Ballage, but not really convincingly.

With only able to start up to 3 WRs, you are pretty well set there, and I don't see any rookie pick at this point supplanting even your bye week options.

I do like the suggestion of a TE, as Walker is getting older. I generally hate TEs in the first round, but if there is one you like better than the rest, you could go that route if you don't go QB.

I love James Washington and Sutton. Sutton probably gets involved quicker.

As you own DT, Sutton would make sense.

Sutton or shop to the league and see if you can trade back 4 or 5 spots and grab Kirk, Washington or Gallup.
